Decide whether food or shopping comes first
A market can cover several streets, buildings and entrances. Check the Korean name and address of the market and any specific stall you want. A representative map pin does not identify every shop or its entrance.
Save a meeting point if travelling together, and check opening times for the specific food or shop rather than assuming every stall follows the market’s general hours.

Ask four questions before sitting down
Confirm the price and amount before ordering several dishes from a photo. Even apparently shared seating may belong to a particular stall; ask before taking a seat.
| Wording or situation | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| 1개 / 한 줄 / 한 접시 | One item, roll or plate: how much food and any minimum quantity? |
| 모둠 / 세트 | Assortment or set: what is included, and can you order items separately? |
| 포장 / 매장 식사 | Takeaway or eat-in: where may you sit and are there extra conditions? |
| Cash, card or QR | Will your own payment method work? |

Korean questions about quantity and price

Market hours and individual shop hours differ
Different sections and stalls may have their own hours, days off and last orders. Do not apply the market's general opening information to every food stall.
If raw food or a particular ingredient is unsuitable for you, ask about the preparation and ingredients. Check storage and import rules for food or goods you take back to your accommodation or home country. A market's representative listing does not guarantee each stall's current prices or payment methods.
